This is a great place to take a close look at the construction of a covered bridge, most of them have traffic going across them this one is closed to cars

Interesting exhibit on covered bridges. Great views of Dexter Lake and the surrounding forested hills.

Very peaceful area. The few times I visited/passed by the covered bridge there were a few people sitting at the benches or fishing. Great place to watch the sun set and just relax. The history of the covered bridge is placed along the bridge and out front, there is also some information about other bridges around Oregon. It was actually pretty interesting to read about.

Handicapped accessible fishing. Great view of Lake and surrounding forested Hills. Good spot to enjoy 4th of July Fireworks at a distance. You can see them but are far enough away from the noise and smoke to really enjoy it. Great if you have an anxious pet with you.

Love stopping here when in the area. Keva bathroom and picnic area. Undercover old Bridge to walk in. So much fun.

Very interesting interpretive signage.

I have seen big fish here

The bridge was constructed with huge old growth timbers, from trees over 400 years old.
