Epic views of the Cascade Range. Saw up to 19 snow capped peaks on a clear day. 1.2 mi straight uphill but worth every step!

Mount June offers an excellent view and though the hike is pretty steep it's still quite doable. It seems a little easier then Pisgah, maybe just because it has so much more shade. The drive to the traihead is a little rough but even a compact car can make it easily, just be sure to have the route figured out ahead of time. The Mount Hardesty hike also available from this trailhead is much longer/more-difficult and though it is a beautiful trail there's not much of a view at the end.
